Job Summary:
The Director of Licensed Services is responsible for the total operation of the assigned departments including: supervision of staff, program development and maintenance, integration with other MRCI programs, community awareness, case findings, budgetary responsibility, licensing and accreditation compliance, and record keeping and reporting.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serve as the resource for licensed services (DTH, Employment Services, Pre-Vocational, EASE).
- Ensure compliance of licensing requirements.
- Maintain expertise on rate reimbursements, service unit tracking, reporting, and billing systems.
- Maintain expertise and ensure compliance of CARF accreditation standards of licensed services.
- Provide supervision, direction and oversight to designated Branch and Program Managers.
- Provide budget oversight and financial analysis of designated Branch and Program units.
- Oversee development, implementation, evaluation and expansion of Day Support Service.
- Provide guidance on development of new licensed program opportunities.
- Research and analyze grants for licensed program development, expansion or advancement.
- Represent MRCI on state service or association committees.
- Serve as an integral member of the MRCI Legislative Committee.
- Develop and expand Parent Advisory Committee framework and deployment.
- Participate and support the Coaching Collaborative initiative.
- Provide guidance on implementation of Vertex as it relates to licensed program compliance, reporting and file keeping.
- Consult with MRCI-developed Community Ambassador committees.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Master's Degree in an appropriate field from an accredited university or a Bachelor's Degree and three to five years of managerial experience.
- At least four years of well-established supervisory and budgeting experience, as well as the proven ability to oversee many aspects of a business, including production, recruitment of staff, finance, resource management, and public relations.
- Must possess knowledge of state and federal laws surrounding rehabilitation facilities, understand all aspects of labor and safety regulations, and have general knowledge of various agencies with which they will have contact.
- Must have wide-ranging proficiency in office software including Word and Excel, and have general knowledge of computer based case management and financial software.
- A valid Driver's License is also a requirement of the position, along with reliable transportation.
