Job Summary

The Human Resources Assistant provides administrative assistance with the day-to-day operations of the human resources functions and duties. In addition, the Human Resources Assistant actively contributes to our mission by embracing a culture that focuses on MRCI's Team Promises and supports one another, our clients and strengthens our community participation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Provide administrative support for hiring, employment changes, and benefits which includes sending memos for status changes and promotions.
  2. Assist with HR Manager in all aspects of benefit enrollment, recordkeeping, and reporting.
  3. Assist with scheduling interviews and conducting reference check of previous employment information for qualified applicants as needed.
  4. Provide follow-up with employees for required forms that need to be collected.
  5. Performs HRIS data entry, file department records; maintain and update employee files.
  6. In coordination with the Human Resources team, support the development of human resources-related reporting to analyze needs and trends.
  7. Completes requests for income and employment verification.
  8. Work closely with the payroll department to assist and resolve simple and complex issues related to employee data.
  9. Manage and execute requests in support of Human Resources Department.
  10. Complete projects and tasks as assigned by the HR Manager.
  11. Foster a safe and healthy work environment by following all safety practices and procedures.
  12. Secure confidential information to protect staff, clients and proprietary knowledge.
  13. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Education/Experience

Associate degree in human resources, business or a related field with one to two years of HR administrative experience.
